Starvation,Sadness,Bread
I created this painting to show the starvation of people in Iran due to food rationing. The dictators are blind to the people's plight and society has tried to maintain the facade of stability by decorating it with gold, though it is cracked and unstable. The bread is depicted with a bright colour and in a realistic way has been encapsulated and protected in a glass case to show the sacristy of food for ordinary people in Iran, who have difficulty accessing even the simplest foods. The dark colors used in this painting show the difficult conditions and suffering. The bodies of people on spear heads represent the lives of the people who protested over the lack of food and were killed. The people at the bottom of the painting are a symbol of people's demonstrations for existing problems and their lack of fear of dictatorial rule.
