I created this painting to show the starvation of people in Iran because the food has been rationed. The king is blind to his dictatorship and his blindness towards the people's problems. Society has tried to maintain the foundations appearance by decorating it with gold but in reality it is cracked and unstable. The bread has been encapsulated and protected in a glass case to show the sacristy of food for ordinary people in Iran. It is difficult for them to access even the simplest foods. The people at the side whose heads are down represent the lives of the people who protested over the lack of food and were killed.
